Mark Your Calendars! | Lots Of Updates From FRB

Our 3rd Annual Beef and Brews Fundraising event is a month away!

This year we have moved our event to the Lyon County Fairgrounds in the main barn. This venue will allow us to seat more people (comfortably) as well as give our homebrewers and brewery showcase participants their own "bar" area to customize or decorate as they see fit.

We've sanctioned our homebrew competition, which allows us to reach more potential homebrewers. This helps market our event to greater audience. It is unlikely that all of these brewers will participate in the people's choice portion, but a broader audience opens up the possibility of more candidates doing so in the future.

Tickets to the 3rd Annual Beef and Brews Fundraising Event are

on sale and available for purchase on our website.

We have redesigned our website! We've added multiple pages including an entire section devoted to our Beef and Brews event. Head on over and check it out: www.firstrespondersbenefit.com/beefandbrews

Over the last few months, we have awarded grants to our local fire departments. We were able to help Smith Valley Fire host an EMT/AEMT class as well as the Yerington/Mason Valley Fire Protection District purchase new turnouts for their influx of volunteers. We also assisted with startup funding for TWO chapters of the Lyon County Sheriff's Office Junior Deputy Program. Currently the Junior Deputy program is available to youth in the Dayton and Fernley areas of Lyon County. We have added these projects as well as historical projects on your newly redesigned webpage. www.firstrespondersbenefit.com/projects

If you are interested in volunteering with First Responders Benefit, please reach out to us! We are always on the hunt for people, who believe in our mission, to join our cause!
